My name is Chris West. I am fortunate to live very close to the New Forest in Hampshire in the south of England. 

I have been woodturning for over 30 years now and for the last 12 years I have specialized in turning salt & pepper shakers and mills. Whilst I sell my mills at local demonstrations and some craft shows, my main marketing thrust is through this website. 

 

I share my designs through articles published in the UK's Woodturning  magazine and Woodturning Design in the USA. 

My book Turning Salt & Pepper Shakers and Mills  has recently been published both in the UK and USA.

 

I am a member of The Turning Circle, a group of four woodturners in south Hampshire who all specialize in different fields of woodturning.
